Jimmy Swaggart and the Song of Salvation

A renowned old Christian Soldier 📖 🪖 has changed address just the day before yesterday, 1st July, 2025. Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart, a 20th cum 21st century preacher and singing minister whose path was littered with travails of battle between the flesh and the Spirit now belongs eternally in the triumphant church in heaven having overcome in the fight and transitioned from the militant church of Christ on earth. 

So, all his worthy warrings in battles, withering weariness from labours, weakening worries of this world, and those whole works of toilsome years and their impact will have not a single hold on him anymore. Now, like a preacher once wrote: "...his past is redeemed and his present makes sense." Eternal redemption indeed. 

A day in the heavenly presence of God is more than a thousand funfairs and more. It is as well a perfect compensation for all that we have borne for the Lord's sake, and a consolation for our every painful wayfaring too. News reports, nasty rumours, silly slanders, soury gossips, and those tales of grief will matter no more. The snare is broken and we're (he's) truly escaped (Psalms 124:7). 

Yes! The events of yesterday have been completely forgotten through this wholesome glorifying by our Lord that leaves no memorial vestige of past scarring or trace of any scathing. I shall add too that the credits and plaudits on our own side of eternity here – this fragile, fleeting, and falling world – now only appear atomic and without consequence before the blessing of gaining paradise. What incomparable glory! Such perfect bliss! In the abode of God on high, and this, forever.

Father's Day and our Undying Hopes

Source: iStock  Some countries entered into the “Father’s Day” earlier than we did in our part of the world. Ours (in this green-white-green country 🇳🇬) fell on 15th June of this year – today. But yesterday, as fate designed, an un-official mentor had dropped me an invaluable message through his periodical newsletter. He was on a faster lane than the rest of us. And you know what?
